Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your order from Deeds Cardhouse. Please read our refund and returns policy carefully before purchasing.

Change of mind / unwanted items

If you are a UK consumer buying online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days to return the item after telling us you wish to cancel.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be returned in a resaleable condition, with all original packaging, seals, accessories and protective materials included where applicable.

For change-of-mind returns:

  • the buyer is responsible for return postage costs;
  • we do not provide prepaid return labels;
  • we recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage;
  • we may make a deduction if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it and this has reduced its value.

We will refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery cost where legally required. We do not refund any optional upgraded delivery costs selected at checkout.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve the issue.

For items damaged in transit, please keep the item, packaging, protective materials and delivery label until the issue has been resolved. We may ask for clear photos of the item, packaging and delivery label so that we can assess the issue and raise a claim with the carrier if required.

Where the issue is due to our error, damage in transit, or a fault with the item, we will cover reasonable return postage costs where a return is required.

Proof of damage or fault

We may ask for reasonable evidence of damage, fault, or incorrect supply before approving a refund, replacement, or return. This may include photos of the item, packaging, delivery label, batch information or any other relevant details.

If adequate evidence is not provided, and the item is not returned to us for inspection where requested, we may be unable to process the claim.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refund timing

Once we receive your returned item, or you provide evidence that it has been sent back, we will process any refund due within 14 days.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout.

Return condition

Returned items should be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. If goods are returned used, damaged, incomplete, or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, where permitted by law.

Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns for items that are:

  • personalised, custom-made or made to your specification;
  • sealed items that have been opened where return would be unsuitable for hygiene, safety or product integrity reasons;
  • damaged after delivery through misuse, poor storage, or accidental damage by the customer.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described.

How to start a return

To start a return, contact us through our contact page or at info@deedscardhouse.com with:

  • your order number;
  • your name and contact details;
  • the item you wish to return;
  • the reason for return;
  • photos if the item is damaged, faulty or incorrect.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as this may delay your refund.
